The 2020.2 release of the Synopsys® Code Sight™ plug-in expands the range of supported IDEs and fixes some bugs. Improvements in the 2020.4 release of the Synopsys® Code Sight™ plug-in include adding a new IDE version, deprecating an older IDE version, and fixing numerous bugs. In the 2020.6 release of the Synopsys® Code Sight™ plug-in, new IDE versions are supported and various bugs have been fixed. It adds support for some IDE versions, and fixes a number of bugs as well. The 2020.8 release of the Synopsys® Code Sight™ plug-in includes a number of enhancements to improve ease of use and the accuracy of information displayed. The 2020.8.1 release of the Synopsys® Code Sight™ plug-in is a hotfix that resolves a few high-priority bugs. The 2020.11 release of the Synopsys® Code Sight™ plug-in is a maintenance release that updates support for some programs, and fixes various issues. ![]() In addition, some interface improvements make it easier to manage and schedule code scans. Version 2021.1 introduces support for Black Duck® software composition analysis and for Microsoft® Visual Studio® Code. Sigma runs in the Code Sight extension to Microsoft® Visual Studio® Code. Version 2021.8.0 introduces support for Synopsys Sigma, a new tool for performing rapid SAST scans. Version 2021.8.1 corrects a few bugs in Code Sight behavior, and a few errors in the documentation. Release 2022.1.0 introduces the Code Sight Standard Edition, a version of Code Sight for Microsoft Visual Studio Code that configures quickly, runs quickly, and adds Software Composition Analysis (SCA) to the VS Code editor. Version 2022.1.1 is a hotfix that fixes a few critical bugs, and adds support for newer JetBrains IDEs. This release also updates support for a number of environments, products, and platforms. Release 2022.6.0, offers improved proxy support, and in VS Code, the ability to sort SCA issues by impact. Version 2022.6.1 is a hotfix that corrects a critical security bug and a couple of previous known issues. Release 2022.8.0 adds support for a few new product versions and corrects a few bugs. Release 2022.8.1 applies to Code Sight in Eclipse and in Visual Studio. Version 2022.8.1 (Eclipse and Visual Studio).Release 2022.9.0 applies to Code Sight in the JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ, PhpStorm, P圜harm, RubyMine, and WebStorm) and in Visual Studio Code. Version 2022.9.0 (JetBrains and VS Code).This is a hotfix release that corrects a couple of bugs and disables telemetry. Release 2022.8.2 applies to Code Sight in Eclipse and in Visual Studio. Version 2022.8.2 (Eclipse and Visual Studio).Release 2023.1.0 applies to Code Sight in the JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ, PhpStorm, P圜harm, RubyMine, and WebStorm) and in Visual Studio Code. Version 2023.1.0 (JetBrains and VS Code).It does not include feature changes to Code Sight in Eclipse or Visual Studio, except for some updates to IDE version support. Release 2023.3.0 includes feature changes to Code Sight in the JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ, PhpStorm, P圜harm, RubyMine, and WebStorm) and in Visual Studio Code. ![]() This version is a hotfix that corrects a couple of issues with the plug-in in IntelliJ. It also adds some development environment versions, support for Synopsys Detect 8, and a new VS Code interface for configuring local installations of Java and the package manager you use. ![]() Release 2023.4.0 adds the Eclipse IDE to the Code Sight Standard Edition (CSSE). Version 2023.4.0 (Eclipse, JetBrains, and VS Code). ![]() Release 2022.8.3 is a hotfix that corrects a bug that involved Visual Studio. For static analysis, it improves the handling of scan summaries, adds the checker name to issue details, and makes issues searchable by checker name. Version 2023.6.0 includes enhancements to the authentication process.
